You can plan every guest for free, with all tables and the auto-arranger. Beyond 20 guests, the extra names stay blurred until you unlock once for €4.99; that also enables print, export and share links for the full list. No subscription, no account required for planning.

Where is my guest data stored?

On your device. Gather runs in your browser and your guest list is saved locally. If you create an optional account, your plan syncs to our European cloud so you can switch devices; share links encode the plan in the link itself.

How do I keep two guests apart, like divorced parents?

Add a keep-apart rule for the two guests. The auto-arranger will never seat them at the same table, and if you ever drag them together manually the table turns red until you fix it.

Can I import my guest list from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Paste the rows straight into the import dialog or upload a CSV; there are free templates in German and English. Circles and meal choices are created automatically.

How does the automatic seating arrangement work?

Gather scores every pair of guests; shared circles and interests attract, keep-apart rules repel strongly, couples are inseparable. It then searches for the table layout with the highest total score. You can tune the weights and pin guests you never want moved.
